This training is intended :

  • for SAR operators assigned to MRCCs and aircrew involved in SAR operations.
  • Priority will be given for this second session of level 1 course to nationals of States in the southern Gulf of Guinea area

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE TRAINING CONTENT

  • International organization of the SAR
  • Conduct of a SAR operation
  • Emergency Messages, Alert Taking
  • Maritime English
  • Safety equipment and rescue drome on board ships
  • Search areas
  • Meteorology
  • Implementation and hand lights, etc.

Pedagogical method

The training will be sanctioned on the last day with a knowledge test.
