The seminar is organized for:
Officers or supervisory staff who manage operational teams in the Yaoundé structures (CIC – CRESMAO/CRESMAC – CMC)
General description of the training content
- Fraud flows by sea: specific risks for the Gulf of Guinea
- The founding texts and legal bases of the Yaoundé structures
- Presentation of the CIC, CRESMAO/CRESMAC and CMC by personnel assigned to these institutions
- Presentation of the main international conventions designed to promote cooperation between States Parties in the fight against maritime trafficking; examples of emblematic operations and mention of regional solutions developed in the Caribbean basin (San José Agreement / Ship-rider MOU / Regional Clearance System)
- Presentation of regional and international partners, mention of combined operations, particularly in the field of drug trafficking
- Presentation of the “Yaris” digital platform for information sharing
- Carrying out a practical exercise to reflect on the pooling of actions to be undertaken as well as the coordinated distribution of tasks within the Yaoundé structures
